He represented creditors of Nortel on all IP issues in a series of complicated asset sales, including the auction of more than 6,000 patents for more than $4 billion.

He also advises buyers, sellers, investors, and creditors on domestic and global transactions involving IP, including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and joint ventures involving numerous technologies and industries. In addition, he represents clients at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and in federal and state courts. and foreign companies in more than thirty ITC investigations through trial, appeal, and proceedings before the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
